Sneh Singla-Pareek
Dr. Sneh L Singla-Pareek is a distinguished scientist leading the Plant Stress Biology group at ICGEB, New Delhi. With a PhD in Plant Molecular Biology in the year 1997 from the University of Delhi and postdoctoral training in the USA, her career has been marked by international experience and recognition. Notable accolades include the DBT-BIRAC Innovator Award and the J.C. Bose Gold Medal Award. She's an elected Fellow of the Indian National Science Academy and the National Academy of Sciences. Dr. Singla-Pareek's research focuses on plant multiple stress tolerance, particularly in pioneering plant glyoxalase research. Her group's work contributes to the development of stress-resilient crop varieties with higher yield, and she's authored numerous peer-reviewed articles and holds multiple patents. Her commitment to bridging science and practical applications is evident through her leadership in technology transfer programs at ICGEB.
